The Connecticut Hospice offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being of our employees, both professionally and personally.

COMPREHENSIVE BENEFITS
Full-time employees are eligible for a robust benefits package beginning on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment. Many benefits are available through pre-tax payroll deductions, helping reduce income tax costs.

DISABILITY COVERAGE
Eligible employees may purchase short-term disability insurance. Long-term disability insurance is provided at no cost to full-time employees.

LIFE INSURANCE
The Connecticut Hospice fully funds life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage for full-time employees after a brief eligibility period.

PAID TIME-OFF
Full- and part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week are eligible for paid time off (PTO), with accrual based on position and length of service. PTO includes time off for vacation, sick, and personal time. The Connecticut Hospice also observes six hospice-designated holidays each year.

RETIREMENT
Employees may participate in a 403(b) retirement savings plan, with tax-deferred contributions up to IRS annual limits.

FREE PARKING
Employees at The Connecticut Hospice’s Branford facility may park their vehicle at no charge.

In 1974, The Connecticut Hospice became America’s first hospice. Since then we have continued to set the national standard for home and inpatient hospice care and have become a leader in palliative care.



We currently employ over 200 people and collaborate with over 50 Connecticut hospitals, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and home care providers.
