The Right Care When You Need It

We offer flexible hospice and palliative care options which can be either in-patient or at home care, and can move from location to location depending on the condition, needs, and wishes of the patient and their families.

This flexible approach helps patients and their families choose the location of care that will best support their medical condition and quality of life.

A Comprehensive Approach

We focus on our patients and their families together, as "One Unit of Care", developing a customized plan to meet the unique needs of the patient and family unit.

Our comprehensive, holistic approach helps patients and loved ones navigate the changes and challenges that accompany life-threatening illnesses and end-of-life care.

We have a medically-directed, nurse-coordinated, interdisciplinary team working together to provide physical, emotional, social, and spiritual support no matter the setting or service.

Respite Care

We offer short-term 24/7 respite care for up to five (5) days in our beautiful waterfront inpatient facility.  Respite care helps ease the burden for families and caregivers, many of whom experience periods of emotional, mental, and physical exhaustion while caring for loved ones.

Respite care provides temporary relief to caregivers, offering them the opportunity to rest and relax. Respite care has been shown to be beneficial for patients, offering a change in routine, the company of others, and, at Connecticut Hospice, the ambiance of our beautiful waterfront facility.
