When you donate stock directly, The Connecticut Hospice receives the full value of the gift. Conversely, if stock is sold before donating, capital gains taxes may apply, reducing the overall impact of your contribution.
How to Donate Stock
Donating stock to The Connecticut Hospice is simple:
- Contact our Development Department at (203) 315-7502 or complete the form below.
- We will provide you with transfer instructions for our Wells Fargo advisory account.
- Once the stock is received, our representative will alert us and process the sale.
