A wide opportunity at Connecticut Hospice, there is a wide range of interdisciplinary opportunities for professional including:

• Respiratory Care
• Pharmacist
• Nutritionist / Cook

Respiratory Care: Practitioner helps patients suffering from all stages of disease, which compromise lung function and support family members while instructing staff

Pharmacist: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, makes rounds daily at the hospital and by Picture Tel in the home care offices. Working with state-of-the-art error detection safe guards, Pharmacist design the palliative care formulary used by physicians.

Cook: Play an important role in helping patients eat with their eyes first. Creative and knowledgeable around spiritual nutritional needs, the Cooks take special interest in portion size and presentation, as well as nutritional benefits, that food has for both patients and families. With Summer time, comes the inevitable cookouts and dining on the lighthouse terraces, sponsored by the first class staff.
